In college most of my art classes were dedicated to painting.  Although at one time I did consider murals as a business, as you can see I ended up focusing on handcrafted jewelry instead.  I still love to paint murals in my "free time" (ha! what is that?!).  Here are a few I have done over the years for friends and family.  I'll be dedicating another post to my girls room which is taking forever to complete.  You know what they say about the cobbler...

What do Bible Verse Bracelets have to do with Google?  Well, I'll tell you!  I'm testing a theory.  As a custom handcrafted jewelry designer I have a line of sterling silver Bible Verse Bracelets that can be customized with a favorite Bible Verse.  Just two weeks ago I had a coveted first page placement in an organic Google search for the keywords "Bible Verse Bracelets" and have had this spot for more than a year.  I gained this placement via hard and consistent work on my website content because, as VIEO Design instructed me, "Content is Key!".

Results of my Bible Verse Bracelets and Google blog post experiment only adds to my curiosity.  My jewelry website link placement did change back to first page, but only on my own laptop and only when signed out of my Google account....hmmm.

How can you tell if your amber jewelry is real?

On a bead shopping trip last year I purchased some beautiful beads marked as "amber".  I couldn't wait to make a statement necklace out of these gorgeous beads that appeared to glow from within.  The beads were large yet ultra lightweight and came in a range of colors that I loved.

After researching I determined my great new beads were synthetic amber.  Synthetic amber is similar to amber in look and feel, but is a significantly less expensive man-made resin.  True amber is a resin, but it is a fossilized tree resin that usually has organic plant or animal material as inclusions.

What is Joomla you may ask?  A powerful Content Management System!  This tool is so cool.  I can review Google Analytics and work on sections of my jewelry website to help improve it, or even create a new blog section as I have just done today. I should probably explain for those confused as to what this has to do with handcrafted jewelry...
